A Brazilian treasure with a wealth of history and heritage, dating back to the 1930’s. Garoto literally translates to mean Boy, paying homage to the kids who sold bonbons on street corners. But over time the brand had lost relevance, sales and market share. An uninspiring visual identity, with product focused communication, had left the brand feeling commoditised with no soul and a low value perception.

Conceived, born and raised in Brazil. A commitment to using 100% Brazilian Cacau and a new brand idea with a distinct and unique Brazilian spirit of spontaneity and awakening your inner child. The updated visual identity is immediate and playful, re-awakening a lost icon and bringing the flavours of a nation back to life.
